Conceived by a couple with a German, Taiwanese, Turkish and Pacific Island background and a passion for the arts and design, Atelier SE’MĀVI creates natural fragrances inspired by those significant moments in our life.
Drawing inspiration from our travels, we share a fascination with the intricacies of nature and the positive energy we can derive from living with and in it.
At times, it feels like time passes too fast for us to notice the things that are truly important. Our fragrances aim to provide a connection, a way to experience and remember moments that are important to us.
They will accompany you on your own journey through memories and moments, past and present.
Our Manifesto
We support small companies, handcraft, and artisans.
We produce by hand in small batches, putting our love and care into each and every fragrance.
We strive to achieve simplicity in life, as well as in what we do.
We do the right thing before maximizing our profit.
We believe in transparency, so we are open with you about our ingredients and their origin.
We only use carefully curated natural ingredients, which means ingredients that come directly from nature, and does not include ingredients that could occur in nature but are actually lab-made.
We respect that because our ingredients are natural, they come with natural imperfections, thus minor variations in our fragrances are possible.
We also take a clear stance on issues that matter in our time.
As such we choose to ship our fragrances in packaging that is reusable and recyclable.
We curate all of our ingredients, packaging and services we employ from countries without authoritarian repressive governments or forced labour, and from companies who do the same.
And we do not use tracking tools or other means of collecting your personal information, and do not employ companies or tools with such business models, as we firmly believe your personal information belongs to no one but you.
We believe in the power of passion, persistence, art, and love.
